September 2009: Holland Litho adds a second digital press.

In September 2009, Holland Litho purchased a second digital press. The Kodak NexPress SE 2500 has special coating features, and is ideal for menus, real estate guides, corporate literature, sell sheets, business cards, post cards, or virtually any type of short-run color printing or proofing. Also good for direct mail, variable data and personalization. 

SE 2500 Coating Features: 
Dimensional Imaging: similar to thermography and can be applied not only to line art or text, but to textures, patterns, process color images, or even image details! Cost is $.15 for up to 25% coverage, per 8.5” x 11” area. ($.25 for 50%, $.35 for 75% and $.45 for 

NexGloss Gloss Coating: similar to UV coating, but completely recyclable and environmentally friendly. Overall gloss coating price is $.15 per 8.5”x11” area. Spot NexGloss coating requires special file set up and press layout considerations and is $.20 per 8.5”x11” area. 

Clear Protection Gloss Coating: A protective gloss coating with a sheen that is more like a varnish coat. This coating will have a glossier sheen on gloss paper, less glossy on satin paper and even less glossy on uncoated paper. Can be overall or spot and requires special set up in the native file for the spot only. See us for file set up instructions, or review your project with us and we can doing the spot set up for you. Price is $.12 per 8.5”x11” area.< 

IQ Flood and IQ Image Coating: IQ stands for Image Quality and give a non-protective gloss coating with a sheen that is more like a varnish coat. This coating will have a glossier sheen on gloss paper, less glossy on satin paper and even less glossy on uncoated paper. Can be overall or spot and does not require any file set up whatsoever for spot or overall. The NexPress software selects all image areas to apply the spot coating to. Price is $.10 per 8.5”x11” area.
