Two HP Indigo Digital Presses

The HP Indigo 7900 and 7K Digital Presses are the market-leading 13 x 19 inch format digital sheetfed presses.

The Indigo's list of advantages include; its use of liquid ink rather than toner, supports a wide range of substrates (paper types) and supports the ability to match many Pantone colors very closely. Using dozens of software and hardware innovations, the press delivers the smoothest and sharpest prints in the industry, matching or even exceeding offset quality. HP Indigo ElectroInk has the widest digital color gamut, in addition to special inks, using up to 7 ink stations on press.

WHITE INK — Can be used to print graphics or type over color stock or can be used to print a solid white area and then print color on top of the white ink.

SILVER INK — Can be used to add a metallic silver look or mix with cmyk to create any metallic color in the rainbow; from gold to purple. Guides and swatches available..

large format prints

Holland Litho uses the latest inkjet technology to produce large, vibrant, full color prints. Coupled with our experience in color, we can produce these prints on a range of substrates in various sizes. Our most popular stocks are satin, gloss, enhanced matte and canvas. Large format prints can be mounted to Duraplast or Foam Core and can also be laminated.

Using our GBC SPIRE III laminating equipment, Holland Litho can laminate Epson prints and/or mount to board such as Gatorboard or Duraplast. This process is strictly for applications where the print will not be used in direct sunlight or the elements of weather for extended periods of time.

Colex Digital Cutter SX1717

With our new Colex Cad Cutter SX1717 we can accurately cut and score prototypes for new carton designs. This is done on the actual stock intended to be used to confirm the engineering of the product. It will also take care of short-run carton runs. We will also use it to cut blankets for applications such as spot coating on our offset presses. Working area is 67"x 67" and the maximum thickness is 2.5".

ExcelCoat ZRB 30

The ExcelCoat ZRB 30 is an offline UV coater that is used to apply UV coating to press sheets offline. UV coating is more durable than other coatings and is a great option for things that need protection such as mailers, book covers and folders. Mailers often get damaged on the front side running through the equipment at the USPS. Please refer to our online article on Tips to Avoid Damaged Mail. Book covers and folders are often expected to have a long shelf life and provide protection for their contents. We are able to coat one side or both sides. The coating may or may not affect the look or sheen of the printed piece depending on what coating is added to which paper stock. For example, any of the coatings on uncoated paper will be invisible as it will soak in and not affect the sheen. Matte coating on gloss stock will appear matte. Gloss coating on matte stock will appear gloss. Soft touch on any stock other than uncoated stock will have the "soft touch" look and feel. The coating options are Matte, Satin, Gloss and Soft Touch. Minimum sheet thickness: UV: 0.006 in/0.15 mm caliper at reduced speed (approx. 65# cover/175 gsm coated) AQ: min. 0.008 in/0.20 mm caliper at reduced speed (approx. 80# cover/200 gsm coated). Max sheet thickness: 0.024 in (0.61 mm).
