Holland Litho successfully passes FSC audit/renewal
Holland Litho recently completed an audit/renewal by Bureau Veritas, the compliance arm of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We passed with flying colors, so to speak!
A little background: FSC is an organization dedicated to sustainable forestry. They enable, though a strict set of protocols, printers and their clients to certify that the paper used in a given project is harvested using sustainable, environmentally-friendly techniques. Recently, their team came in to check that all of the FSC projects we produced met these rigorous standards. The audit found they did.
Any client can request FSC certification for their project. If it meets the criteria FSC defines, you can include the FSC mark on the piece. Many believe this to be a powerful marketing tool that provides an environmental seal of approval for your printed piece.
If you are interested in learning more about FSC certification for yours, we encourage you to talk to your sales rep or visit our FSC page. It's a relatively easy way to enjoy the benefits of using the FSC mark and you gain the added peace of mind that your job is produced using environmentally sustainable products and methods.
