Printing your packaging
Holland Litho can work with you to help you execute your packaging concept.
Packaging requirements. Holland Litho can help you select the overall parameters of your packaging. By taking into account issues such as the size, weight and shelf-life of your package, we can help you choose the right materials and design to ensure your package meets the functional requirements of your product.
Dielines. If you’re going with a standard box, cannister, label, or other item, Holland Litho can provide you with the standard dielines associated with that package. Need something custom? We can work with you to create a custom dieline to produce the package you require.
Mock-ups. Once you've settled on the shape, we can create a mock-up of the package. We can work with you, your designer, or our in-house staff to then populate your package concept with the design concepts that will be printed on it.
Color options. Holland Litho can work with just about any concept when it comes to color, including producing your packaging using one color, two color, CMYK, additional spot colors, and metallic inks.
File-format requirements. The various visual components of your packaging will come together as production-ready files. You, your designer, or Holland Litho staff will take the elements of your design and create a file that can be printed. The tools used to create these files may include Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. In each case, we recommend you send us the layered, unflattened files in one of these formats as it is common that we need to make slight adjustments to panel sizes and other factors. We will work with your production team or our in-house staff to provide guidance around whether to include cut lines, fold/scoring lines, or other requirements.
Budget. Finally, we will work with you to develop a budget for your one-time costs and the per-unit costs of your packaging solutions.
