The absolutely best way to transfer your files
When it comes to sending files, one method is clearly superior to all the others. That method is to use one of the Upload Files links on our website, whether it's the General Upload or the My Account Upload, a version for frequent customers. Contact your salesperson or CSR to get your own username and password.
Let's be clear: We support any method you want to use to send files, be it emailing a zipped up file for small file sizes, WeTransfer, Dropbox or other file delivery services. We'd just like to help you understand, though, why files delivered via the upload tools on our website result in a better workflow.
You see, when you upload files to our website, they are delivered directly to our production server, without an intermediary. In effect, that's half the time transferring. With any other method, you have to upload and we have to download. That can shave valuable time from a job for which you have a tight deadline. What's more, our built-in solution notifies the appropriate CSR that you've sent your files, making sure we are right on top of things from the moment your send is complete.
Producing a great job with a quick turn-around at a great price doesn't happen by accident or by magic: It happens incrementally. In a dozen different ways we like to follow best practices that in turn enable us to deliver on your expectations. File transfer is one of the opportunities we've identified that help us keep costs low and turn your job around as quick as we can. We think that embracing these efforts is a win for both of us.
